Job Summary

This Senior Specialist role focuses on driving the future of product design at On by applying cutting-edge computational design methodologies. The core mission involves leveraging expertise in parametric, algorithmic, and generative design principles to create adaptable design systems and complex, optimized forms that meet stringent performance requirements. You will be responsible for transforming innovative concepts into tangible proof-of-concept prototypes using rapid prototyping techniques and collaborating closely with international development and manufacturing teams across Europe and Asia. This position requires 5+ years of experience in advanced CAD design, deep knowledge of tools like Rhino, Grasshopper, and Python, and a proven ability to develop robust algorithms for geometric challenges. Joining the Innovation Design Studio, you will work alongside an international team of experts dedicated to delivering breakthrough innovation and rethinking how products are made from the ground up, driven by athlete performance and sustainability goals.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Product/Industrial Design, Architecture, Computer Science, or a related field

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in computational or advanced CAD design
  • Proven track record in launching complex product designs, emphasizing innovation
  • Proven experience in developing generalized and robust algorithms for geometric problems
  • Advanced knowledge of general manufacturing processes
