Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Project Manager (Project Lead and potentially Project Controller) within the Municipal Building Management division, specifically focusing on school construction and modular building projects in Cologne. The successful candidate will independently lead and manage large-scale construction projects across all service phases, from initial planning and development through construction execution, commissioning, and handover to users. Key responsibilities include coordinating and controlling planning based on current quality standards, ensuring rigorous cost control, managing timelines and quality assurance, and acting as the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders. Candidates must possess a degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a comparable field, along with experience in project control/management of various building types and strong knowledge of German public procurement law (VOB/VGV).
