Job Summary

This is a fixed-term position for a Technical Assistant or Laboratory Technician within the Hessian State Laboratory (LHL), specifically in the 'Special Agricultural Analytics' department in Kassel. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting microbiological examinations of feed, water, and environmental samples, as well as performing quantitative detection of ingredients and contaminants using biochemical and immunological methods, such as ELISA. Key responsibilities include maintaining QM documentation according to DIN EN ISO 17025 standards and managing data entry within the Laboratory Information and Management System (LIMS). This role requires a completed relevant technical assistant or laboratory technician qualification, proven experience in classical microbiological and quantitative biochemical analysis, and strong teamwork and communication skills.
