Job Summary

This is a fixed-term opportunity until December 31, 2026, serving as a sickness cover at the Hessian State Laboratory (LHL) in Kassel. The role is situated within the Agriculture and Environment division, focusing on renewable energies, soil, and secondary raw materials. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for the preparation, execution, and follow-up of analyses, primarily on agricultural samples, especially soil samples. This involves using various analytical systems, including CFA and AAS, to test for nutrients, micronutrients, and pollutants. Key requirements include a completed vocational training as a Laboratory Technician or technical employee in Chemistry, Biology, or Agriculture, coupled with experience in instrumental analysis and the ability to work independently. The position requires good physical resilience due to the handling of heavy samples and boxes.
