Job Summary
This role, based in Hilden (near Düsseldorf), involves the critical repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of laboratory equipment for QIAGEN customers. The In-House Service Technician will manage the entire repair workflow, from goods receipt to dispatch, ensuring compliance with strict internal quality management guidelines and customer-specific work instructions. A key focus is maintaining high customer satisfaction by tracking service goals and key performance indicators. Candidates should possess a technical qualification in fields such as medical technology, electronics, or mechatronics, coupled with at least three years of experience in service support or after-sales service, preferably involving medical devices. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training (e.g., Medical Technology, Communication Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Precision Mechanics or similar)
Experience
- At least 3 years in Service Support / After Sales Service
- Experience in maintenance and repair of medical devices (ideal)
- Professional experience with Microsoft Office applications
