Job Summary

This role is a compelling opportunity for a qualified Civil Engineering Technician to join the Drainage Department of the City of Bochum, focusing specifically on new construction projects within underground utilities. The professional will provide crucial technical and organizational support for construction management and site supervision of municipal sewer construction projects, working across various sites and with different project leads. Daily responsibilities include rigorous quality assurance, such as compaction and positional accuracy checks, material control, and generating daily construction reports. Furthermore, the role involves preparing and participating in the acceptance of construction services (including camera inspections, leak tests, and surveying), controlling and generating electronic invoice checks, and preparing ground investigations. Candidates should possess a relevant Civil Engineering Technician qualification and preferably have deep practical experience in urban sewer and road construction, making this a vital position in the city's infrastructure development.
