Job Summary

This role is for an engaged SAP HCM Specialist to actively participate in an ongoing SAP HCM implementation project within the City of Bochum's Personnel Management, IT, and Organization department. The specialist will be crucial in requirement gathering, evaluation, and qualification, as well as executing testing, training, and Go-Live activities. Day-to-day tasks involve planning, steering, and monitoring project activities, supporting the design of the future operating model (including external service provider interfaces), and continuously developing the HR system post-implementation. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of HR processes and their mapping in SAP HCM, coupled with relevant IT education or professional experience. This position offers an opportunity to drive digital innovation and transformation within a major municipal environment, providing a stable, permanent contract and flexible working conditions, including up to 80% home office.
