Day-to-day responsibilities include advising authorities, experts, and operators on regulatory compliance (AwSV), developing and updating technical guides and publications, and providing training to water management specialists. The specialist will also contribute to the creation and revision of legal regulations and technical rules, ensuring the LfU's foundational work remains current. Key requirements include a completed university or technical college degree (Bachelor/Diplom-FH) in fields like Process Engineering, Environmental Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering. Candidates should possess strong German communication skills (written and verbal) and be prepared for occasional multi-day business trips. This position offers a structured, self-directed work environment supporting environmental protection across Bavaria.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university or technical college degree (Bachelor of Engineering/Science or equivalent) in Process Engineering, Environmental Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in facilities handling water-hazardous substances (desirable)
  • Specialized knowledge in facility and process technology (desirable)
