Job Summary

This role seeks an Organic Laboratory Technician to join the Environmental Analysis team in Hoppegarten, near Berlin, within the dynamic GBA Group. The core responsibilities involve supporting the team through meticulous sample preparation and processing for GC analysis, focusing on diverse matrices such as soil, water, wood, and waste. Day-to-day tasks include creating ready-to-measure extracts and ensuring strict quality standards by operating, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment (e.g., scales and drying ovens). Candidates should possess a completed vocational qualification (CTA, BTA, UTA, MTA, or Laboratory Assistant) or equivalent scientific background. While experience in relevant sample preparation is beneficial, a careful, structured, and reliable approach, coupled with strong teamwork skills, is essential.
