Job Summary
As a Chemical Laboratory Technician specializing in pesticide analytics, you will be responsible for the evaluation of pesticide samples using advanced GC-MS/MS systems. Your daily routine involves the operation and maintenance of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry equipment, alongside precise data management within a Laboratory Information and Management System (LIMS). You will play a critical role in ensuring quality control measures are strictly followed within the laboratory. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in chemistry or food chemistry who thrive in structured, quality-conscious environments. The role offers a unique blend of scientific rigor and modern flexibility, featuring a highly motivated team, opportunities for professional growth, and the possibility of working up to two days per week from home, which is rare for laboratory-based positions.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), or a degree in Chemistry, Food Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience or training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA)
- Solid fundamental knowledge in gas chromatography
- Initial practical experience in pesticide analytics or commercial laboratory settings is preferred
- Experience in performing quality assurance measures in a laboratory environment

- German language skills at B2 level are required. The position is full-time and permanent.
