Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for the measurement and evaluation of food samples using advanced gas chromatography techniques, specifically focusing on GC-FID and GC-MS. Your daily tasks will include the analysis of mineral oil residues (MOSH/MOAH), the interpretation of chromatograms, and the development or optimization of analytical methods. You will play a vital role in quality assurance and maintenance of laboratory equipment while ensuring meticulous documentation within a Laboratory Information and Management System (LIMS). This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or completed vocational training as a Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA) or Chemical Laboratory Assistant.
Experience
- Professional experience as a Chemical Laboratory Assistant or Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA)
- Practical experience in gas chromatography (GC) analytics
- Experience in a food laboratory environment is highly desirable
- Experience with LIMS software and laboratory documentation
- Proven ability to work independently and structured in a laboratory setting
