Job Summary
This role involves comprehensive administration and coordination of specialized business process software, specifically managing the H&H ProDoppik financial system for the City of Potsdam. Day-to-day responsibilities include participating in city-wide digitalization projects, advising management on introducing new specialized procedures, optimizing application use, and coordinating cross-departmental process improvements. Key technical duties involve planning and coordinating hardware and software requirements, ensuring the functional operation, availability, and currency of the financial system, configuring the software, and executing data deletion and archiving concepts. Furthermore, the coordinator will provide crucial first-level support to users and manage user permissions and system environments (test, audit, production). The ideal candidate holds a degree in IT or Public Administration, possesses relevant professional experience, and demonstrates strong team and communication skills. This is a secure, full-time, permanent position offering an attractive TVöD salary package and flexible working conditions, including up to 50% mobile work.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or University of Applied Sciences degree in Administrative/Business Informatics, Public Administration, Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt), or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in a relevant field
- In-depth knowledge regarding the structure and functionality of IT infrastructure and specialized software
- Experience with H&H ProDoppik specialized software (desirable)
