As the Senior Lead for Apparel Materials Development focusing on Lifestyle products, Collabs, and Special Projects, you will be crucial in defining and executing material excellence for a premium global sports brand. Your primary mission involves guiding and curating the material palette, ensuring selections enhance garment quality, fit, and design identity. You will manage the entire material development lifecycle, from initial design brief through commercialization handoff, working closely with global suppliers. A key component of this role is driving sustainability initiatives by integrating preferred materials and commercially ready innovations in collaboration with internal teams. This position requires a proactive, entrepreneurial developer with over a decade of global experience, possessing extensive technical knowledge of natural and synthetic fibers, wovens, knits, and print techniques, coupled with strong strategic vision and proven global sourcing exposure.
