The role involves the scientific exploration and advancement of an innovative ultrasound measurement method, specifically for non-invasive monitoring of temperature distributions and tissue changes during hyperthermia and thermal ablation. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and optimizing signal processing algorithms, designing tissue phantoms, conducting experiments, and collaborating with clinical partners. This position offers the chance to contribute to a DFG-funded project with high potential for future applications in medical diagnostics, particularly in quantitative ultrasound and tissue characterization.
