Job Summary

This role involves providing essential IT application support and maintenance for specialized professional applications within a large municipal employer in Oberhavel. Day-to-day responsibilities include the continuous maintenance of central system and parameter data, managing user rights and master data, and developing workflows and procedures to ensure standardized processes. A key focus is on data management, including monitoring data integrity, controlling security-relevant log files, and creating specialized outputs like reports and geographical calculations. The specialist will also be responsible for technical support of the Geographical Information System (GIS), form services, and Microsoft Office products, including developing dashboards for data visualization. Candidates should possess a degree or equivalent qualification in IT, preferably in Application Development or System Integration, and bring experience from the public administration sector.
