Job Summary

This role involves ensuring quality and customer requirements are met throughout the bidding, development, and execution phases of projects, specifically within the electro-optical and electro-mechanical systems sector. The Project Quality Manager will be responsible for evaluating quality requirements in customer contracts, analyzing internal and external quality issues, and implementing corrective actions within development teams. Key tasks include conducting quality-relevant work packages, performing document and phase reviews, participating in FMEAs, and verifying conformity before system delivery. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Engineering (Optics, Optoelectronics, or Optomechanics) and at least five years of professional experience, including multi-year experience supporting development projects from a quality perspective. Proficiency in German and English is required, along with knowledge of quality methodologies like APQP, Six Sigma, and FMEA, making this a pivotal role in driving groundbreaking aerospace and defense projects.
