Quality Manager (Aerospace/Defense) | Qualitätsmanager (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves ensuring that processes within the Optronics and RADAR business units, including associated development, sales, and logistics departments, adhere effectively and with low risk to contractual quality requirements, specifically within the aerospace and defense sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include applying quality processes, managing project-relevant Quality Management (QM) tasks to meet performance, time, and cost targets, and creating project-specific QM documentation such as QM Plans and Process Assurance Plans. A key focus is participating in product validation, verification, and certification of complex systems and equipment, including conducting software-related quality activities compliant with aviation standards. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering, possesses experience in quality and project management, and has deep knowledge of QM systems (DIN EN 9100, AQAP) and development processes (V-Model, RTCA/DO-254/-178). Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for effective communication.
