Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the seamless operation of a critical development infrastructure, encompassing servers, storage, clients, networking, and comprehensive user management. A primary focus is on automating configuration settings, deployments, and updates for both server and client systems, strictly adhering to stringent IT security guidelines, specifically BSI IT-Grundschutz. The engineer will manage configurations and administration for test and integration facilities, handle backup processes, and create detailed documentation. Collaboration with internal IT service providers and external vendors is key. Candidates must hold a degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, coupled with professional experience in network support (NTP) and mandatory general knowledge of IT infrastructure, including Windows/Linux OS, Active Directory, DNS, and CI/CD concepts. Fluency in both German and English is required, alongside strong problem-solving skills and a high commitment to compliance.
