Job Summary

This role is critical for driving innovative diagnostic solutions by acting as the primary expert for Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies within Diagnostics Operations Penzberg. You will be responsible for the successful Design Transfer and process optimization of high-quality NGS methods, ensuring their efficient transition from scientific development into routine production. Day-to-day, you will manage project-based implementation of cutting-edge sequencing technologies, evaluate and validate NGS-based methods for DNA and RNA analysis, and serve as the central subject matter expert, advising interdisciplinary teams on optimal sequencing strategies. Success in this position requires a degree in a relevant life science field, at least five years of professional experience in NGS application, and proven expertise in design transfer within a regulated environment (FDA, ISO 13485).
