Job Summary
This role involves providing comprehensive IT support, primarily through a service desk, for a reputable client. The specialist will be responsible for receiving and resolving software and hardware issues via phone and email, utilizing remote access for troubleshooting and repair. Key duties include prioritizing, classifying, and documenting incidents within a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with service-level agreements, and escalating complex issues to higher support tiers. Additionally, the role requires maintaining and updating the knowledge base. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant IT qualification, foundational experience in 1st or 2nd-level support, and strong command of both German and English, coupled with proficiency in Microsoft products and standard hardware.
