Job Summary

This role seeks a skilled Chemical Laboratory Technician specializing in radiochemical analysis to join a globally active nuclear technology company. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the precise execution and documentation of routine radiochemical analyses, including complex sample preparation techniques like drying, ashing, and microwave digestion. A core function is radionuclide separation according to prescribed analysis methods and performing basic spectrometry measurements (Alpha, Beta, Gamma). The technician will also support the planning and processing of analysis orders. To qualify, candidates must have completed formal training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician and possess multi-year professional experience, especially in the preparatory handling of radioactive substances. Crucially, applicants must have medical suitability for radiation protection and the required security clearance (ZÜP) for working in controlled areas.
