Job Summary

This leadership role involves managing the 'Digital Knowledge' section within the Federal Administration Office (BVA), focusing heavily on the development and maintenance of the Travel Management System (TMS) Portal. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the portal's user-friendliness and functionality through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, while ensuring content across all Travel Management platforms is current. Key responsibilities include personnel deployment planning, coordinating team tasks, integrating mobile staff, and providing technical leadership and support to team members. This position also involves leading digital development projects, particularly portal migration efforts, requiring strong project management and content management skills, ideally with experience in systems like TYPO3. Candidates must possess a relevant university degree or administrative qualification and be prepared for planned business travel.

Required Skills

Education

Accredited university degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in Law, Administration, or Economics; OR completed qualification as an Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt); OR successful completion of preparatory service/promotion procedure for the higher non-technical administrative service career track.

Experience

  • Professional experience in public administration (advantageous)
  • Professional experience in website support and content management (advantageous)
