Job Summary

This role seeks an engaged and responsible Chemical Laboratory Technician to join the production support team, focusing on the manufacturing process for pearlescent pigments. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing in-process controls and conducting analytical investigations of raw, auxiliary, and intermediate products. A core function involves advanced troubleshooting—performing analytical and methodical root cause analysis (RCA) for production disruptions or quality deviations. The ideal candidate must possess a completed apprenticeship as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or Assistant and substantial professional experience in a production or analytical laboratory setting. Key technical requirements include deep knowledge of chemical and physical analysis methods, particularly the ability to manufacture and characterize substrate coatings via targeted precipitation reactions. Proficiency with laboratory software such as Spotfire, Tableau, MS Office (Excel), and ideally LIMS or SAP is essential for success in ensuring and optimizing product quality.
