Job Summary
This role involves providing essential technical support for medical devices within a major university hospital setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing repairs and inspections, collaborating with external service providers, and supporting the testing, commissioning, and decommissioning of medical equipment as part of the lifecycle management process. The specialist will also assist senior technicians in identifying integration needs for networked medical devices and contribute to investment and planning projects. Key requirements include a completed training as an Electrician or several years of professional experience in medical technology, coupled with deep knowledge of relevant legal frameworks (MDR, MPDG, etc.) and technical standards (DIN EN 60601, 62353). Familiarity with clinical information systems, network technology, and interoperability standards like HL7 and FHIR is crucial. This is a unique opportunity to work on complex medical technology issues in an interdisciplinary environment at the TUM Klinikum Rechts der Isar in Munich.

Completed training as an Electrician or comparable qualification
