Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Medical Physicist to fulfill the duties of a Medical Physics Expert (MPE) within Diagnostic Radiology, adhering strictly to German Radiation Protection Laws (StrlSchG and StrlSchV). Key responsibilities include the comprehensive medical physics support of X-ray, fluoroscopy, and CT systems, alongside the configuration and continuous development of the clinic-wide Dose Management System. The position also involves critical IT administration tasks, including first-level support for the Radiology IT infrastructure (PACS, RIS, and internal Windows domain), and developing small software tools to optimize data analysis and departmental processes. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Physics or Medical Informatics and possess expertise in data analysis and automation. While expertise in Radiation Protection (MPE qualification) is required, candidates meeting prerequisites can acquire it on the job. This is a challenging, interdisciplinary, and technically demanding temporary position (12 months) located in the heart of Munich.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or comparable in Physics, Medical Informatics, or a comparable field. Expertise in Radiation Protection (MPE) for X-ray Diagnostics (can be acquired during employment).
