Job Summary

This role involves working as an R&D Engineer within the Antibody Development subchapter of Reagent Research & Design at Roche Diagnostics, focusing on improving global health through innovative diagnostic solutions. The engineer will be responsible for the independent planning, execution, documentation, and presentation of experiments aimed at optimizing antibody development. Key daily activities include developing diagnostic antibodies using both classical hybridoma technology and modern B-cell PCR techniques, isolating and cultivating B cells, and performing single-cell sorting followed by specific antibody screening. A critical component of the role is executing and improving process steps utilizing automated high-throughput systems. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Biology, Immunology, or Biotechnology, possess solid hands-on experience in cell biology techniques like FACS and ELISA, and demonstrate excellent English proficiency. The position requires a committed, well-organized, and team-oriented approach to scientific research.
