Job Summary

This critical role focuses on actively developing and implementing the corporate Cybersecurity Governance for Österreichische Post AG and its subsidiaries. The specialist will be responsible for conceptualizing security frameworks, establishing robust reporting structures, and ensuring mandatory implementation through proactive stakeholder management across departments. Key duties include continuously improving the organization’s Cybersecurity Capabilities and evolving group-wide frameworks in collaboration with IT Security experts. A significant part of the job involves planning and executing Gap Analyses and regular penetration tests, often leveraging external service providers. Success requires a hands-on mentality, a strong academic background in IT/Cybersecurity, and deep expertise in international standards such as ISO 27001, BSI Grundschutz, and NIST, alongside regulatory knowledge of NIS/NIS2 and DORA. The position offers a high level of responsibility in a secure, modern corporate environment.

Required Skills

Education

Successful degree focusing on IT and Cybersecurity or comparable fields

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years in Cybersecurity Governance
  • Professional experience in the Cybersecurity environment (broad technical expertise)
  • Desirable experience in an international corporate environment
  • Experience in self-directed topic design and implementation based on objectives
