Job Summary
This is a crucial leadership role as the Head of Radiopharma Production within a highly modern environment at Siemens Healthineers, directly contributing to patient care. The successful candidate will lead a team of approximately six production staff, overseeing all aspects of radiopharmaceutical manufacturing. Key responsibilities include personnel planning, creating shift schedules, developing and managing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring stringent adherence to EU and FDA Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, and managing equipment qualification. You will also be responsible for deviation clarification and maintaining GMP-compliant hygiene status. The role requires a background in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related fields, coupled with several years of experience in licensed pharmaceutical or radiopharmaceutical manufacturing. Excellent German and English skills are mandatory, as is the willingness to work in a dynamic setting that includes supporting production during night shifts (up to 50% of the time). This position offers significant creative freedom and the chance to drive the future of molecular imaging production.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in (Pharmaceutical) Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or equivalent; Alternatively, professional training as a Pharmaceutical Technical Assistant (PTA), Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), or Biological Technical Assistant (BTA).
Experience
- Several years of experience in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals or radiopharmaceuticals in a licensed facility.
- Experience implementing EU and FDA Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.
- Experience in leading or coordinating production lines.
- Desirable experience in the production of PET tracers or other radioactive substances.
- Basic business administration knowledge.

- Permanent contract (Unbefristet). Readiness to work in day and night shifts, with night shifts potentially accounting for up to 50% of the time. Willingness to support production during personnel shortages (approximately 10 weeks of night shifts per year). Work involves handling sensitive and hazardous substances, requiring high diligence.
