Job Summary

This critical role involves supporting the operational heart of Berlin's 36,000 km power grid by ensuring the continuous availability and modernization of the complex SCADA/Control System (Netzleitsystem). The engineer will act as a System Administrator and expert for configuring data exchange interfaces, designing and implementing process and interface adaptations, and optimizing existing connections in collaboration with vendors and internal experts. A key focus is documenting configurations and technical details to maintain system integrity. Candidates must possess a university degree in IT, technical, or scientific fields, coupled with professional experience in operating IT or OT systems and their interfaces, and strong knowledge of network technology. This position offers a high level of responsibility in driving the energy transition within a stable utility company, ensuring reliable power supply for 3.7 million customers in Berlin.
