Job Summary
This crucial role involves leading and coordinating city-wide IT Vulnerability Management for the City of Stuttgart's IT Security Competence Center (IT-S CC). The Coordinator is responsible for conceptualizing, establishing, and continuously developing the city's vulnerability management system, including integrating interfaces like Critical Infrastructures (KRITIS). Day-to-day tasks include optimizing city-wide security processes, measures, and concepts, coordinating all relevant internal and external stakeholders, and conducting sensitization measures, training, and audits. You will also be responsible for creating regular reports and advising stakeholders on vulnerability remediation strategies. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or a related IT field, or equivalent vocational training with extensive professional experience. Essential requirements include deep knowledge of vulnerability management, general IT security measures, and familiarity with key standards such as BSI IT-Grundschutz, ISO/IEC 27001, and KRITIS. This permanent position offers the opportunity to significantly shape the IT security landscape of a major German city.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree with an IT focus (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics) or comparable qualification, OR Completed vocational training in the IT sector.
