Job Summary

This role is for an Energy Technology Engineer within the Middle Franconia Police Headquarters' Facilities Management department in Nuremberg. The successful candidate will primarily manage photovoltaic systems and address all related technical questions, including comprehensive energy management, integration of e-mobility solutions, and general electrical engineering tasks. Key daily activities involve consulting various police stations, developing technical concepts, and actively participating in complex projects. Given the scope, a significant amount of field service across the entire Middle Franconia jurisdiction is required. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Diploma (FH) degree in Energy Technology or a closely related engineering field. While initially a temporary employment contract, the position is designed with a clear path toward permanent civil servant status (Verbeamtung) up to salary group A 11, offering the security and benefits of public service and the opportunity to contribute directly to Bavaria's internal security.

  • Minimum three years of relevant full-time professional experience after graduation required for civil servant status
  • At least one year of professional experience must be in public service (can be acquired in this role)
