Job Summary
This role involves serving as a Development Engineer within the Technical Operations Command of the North Bavaria Special Units Police Inspectorate in Nuremberg. The primary responsibilities include the independent development, manufacturing, and maintenance of specialized technical equipment, focusing particularly on complex control, signaling, sensor, and evaluation technologies, especially concerning unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and their monitoring/defense. The engineer will also be tasked with optimizing telecommunications and mechatronic systems for police operations, conducting market and fault analysis, and managing related projects. A key requirement is a Bachelor's or Diploma degree (FH) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a comparable technical field, coupled with several years of relevant professional experience. The position requires strong IT skills, high initiative, and the willingness to perform duties outside regular hours, including on-call and shift work, contributing directly to internal security operations.
