Job Summary
This role seeks an Energy Technology Engineer to join the Property Management division of the Middle Franconia Police Headquarters in Nuremberg. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing photovoltaic systems and related energy matters, including supporting cross-cutting areas such as energy management, integration of e-mobility, and electrical engineering. Day-to-day tasks involve project collaboration, advising various police departments, creating technical concepts, and undertaking significant fieldwork across the Middle Franconia region. Key requirements include a Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Energy Technology or a comparable engineering field, professional experience in VDE standards, renewable energy property management, and project work. Experience
- Professional experience and knowledge in VDE standards and technical guidelines (desirable)

- Professional experience and knowledge in E-Mobility (desirable)
- Professional experience in project work (desirable)
- At least three years of relevant full-time professional experience after graduation (required for civil servant status)
- At least one year of full-time professional experience in public service (required for civil servant status)

- Valid Class B driving license; Must meet civil service requirements (e.g., German citizenship, good health); Must not have reached the age of 45 at the time of appointment to civil servant status; Significant fieldwork component across Middle Franconia; Initial contract is temporary (befristet) leading to permanent civil servant status (Verbeamtung vorgesehen).
