Job Summary
This role seeks a Safety I&C Engineer to join a leading company specializing in engineering and power plant construction in Erlangen. The primary responsibilities involve developing software applications for critical safety instrumentation and control (I&C) systems and creating detailed I&C specifications. You will be responsible for clarifying technical requirements with clients and internal Process & Safety departments, integrating new digital control technology into existing plant infrastructure, and preparing all required regulatory approval documents. A crucial part of the role is the execution of rigorous system and functional tests to ensure compliance and safety. Candidates must possess a degree in Automation Technology or a related field, practical experience in digital safety I&C, and proficiency in programming (preferably Python). Strong German and good English skills are required. This long-term assignment offers competitive compensation and a strong possibility of permanent employment with the client.
