Job Summary

This role is a critical Project Engineer position focusing on SCADA Communication Gateways within High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) control technology for a leading energy corporation. The professional will be responsible for the full lifecycle of SCADA Communication Gateway components, including signal intermediation and the communication integration of subsystems and control centers. Key daily tasks involve creating and maintaining technical specifications and manuals, clarifying signal lists with internal interfaces, customers, and suppliers, and configuring the central data gateway (IPCOMM ipConv) and other protocol converters. A core function is system integration and commissioning the components in test setups located in Erlangen and Forchheim, ensuring flawless communication and conducting acceptance tests. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Informatics, coupled with professional experience in control technology for energy transmission systems and advanced knowledge of SCADA systems and relevant communication protocols.
