Job Summary

This role involves serving as a 3D CAD Application Support Engineer for a major engineering and power plant construction company in Erlangen. The core responsibility is ensuring the continuous, smooth operation of the CAD and PDM system landscape. Day-to-day tasks include managing and supporting specialized engineering software, particularly the AVEVA Toolsuite (E3D/Engineering/Diagrams), handling operational requirements from initial capture through to implementation in the respective CAD systems, and providing essential user support, especially during software release changes. The successful candidate will also strategically contribute to CAD/PDM projects to meet departmental demands efficiently. Key requirements include a relevant university degree or professional qualification, at least three years of professional experience, a strong IT affinity, and excellent knowledge of AVEVA tools and initial experience with EPLAN. This position offers a long-term assignment with potential for permanent takeover by the client.
