Job Summary

This leadership role involves taking sovereign control of the entire IT division within a strong Austrian construction company. The Head of IT is responsible for defining and implementing the overall IT strategy, aligning it with corporate goals, and managing four distinct areas: Business Applications, Security & Infrastructure, R&D, and Service Operations. Day-to-day tasks include budget and resource management, procurement of hardware, software, and contracts, optimizing the service portfolio, and actively evaluating and integrating innovative technologies. A core requirement is the professional and disciplinary leadership of four team leaders and approximately 30 employees, ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines. The ideal candidate must possess a university degree in IT or a related field, several years of comparable professional experience, and exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
