Job Summary

This critical leadership role involves heading a dedicated 6-person team and driving the development and execution of the company's overall IT strategy and goals within a strong Austrian construction firm. The Head of IT Security and Infrastructure is responsible for ensuring robust security standards by developing and implementing new policies, identifying potential risks, and actively monitoring IT systems for anomalies and breaches. A major component of the role is managing the hybrid IT infrastructure, encompassing hardware, networking, firewalls, backup strategies, and client management. Furthermore, the role involves deep coordination of Microsoft M365, focusing on collaboration, security, and Azure AD (IAAS). The ideal candidate must possess excellent leadership and communication skills, a degree in IT or equivalent professional experience, and an entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with the ability to bridge the gap between a fast-moving IT environment and a traditional company culture.
