Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer focused on delivering customized hardware solutions for complex process plants and machinery. Day-to-day responsibilities involve creating detailed circuit diagrams using EPLAN P8, leveraging innovative macro solutions and Cogineer functionality. You will be responsible for selecting and integrating electrical components to ensure efficient and reliable automation systems. A critical part of the job involves clarifying technical specifications with both clients and suppliers and managing the interface between EPLAN and PLC software (such as SIMATIC S7/PCS7). Furthermore, you will oversee the acceptance and quality inspection of switchgear at the supplier location, ensuring comprehensive technical documentation is maintained. Candidates must possess a degree or technician qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, strong EPLAN P8 proficiency, and foundational knowledge of PLC systems and frequency converters.
