Job Summary

This role as a System Design Engineer places you at the forefront of maritime high-technology, working with TKMS Atlas Elektronik GmbH in Bremen. You will be instrumental in shaping the organization's technical expertise and driving strategic development topics. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the conception and processing of complex system descriptions, defining system requirements, and architecting System-of-Systems definitions. A core function is the decomposition of systems into subordinate elements, defining derived requirements, and ensuring technical solutions adhere to crucial standards regarding System Safety, Security, and Usability. Success in this role requires a completed degree in Natural Sciences or Systems Engineering and long-term professional experience in designing complex systems. Essential technical skills include deep knowledge of Systems Engineering principles and proficiency with tools like Doors Classic and MagicDraw, alongside familiarity with SysML and the SAF-Framework. This position offers the security of a permanent contract and the flexibility of up to 50% remote work.
