This PhD position involves cutting-edge research focused on reliably characterizing liquid-gas bubble mixtures within pipe flows utilizing Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing computational models and analysis techniques to achieve this characterization goal. Key qualifications include a Master's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field such as Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or Computational Engineering, coupled with very strong programming proficiency, specifically in C++ and Python.
