Job Summary
This PhD position involves cutting-edge research focused on reliably characterizing liquid-gas bubble mixtures within pipe flows utilizing Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing computational models and analysis techniques to achieve this characterization goal. Key qualifications include a Master's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field such as Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or Computational Engineering, coupled with very strong programming proficiency, specifically in C++ and Python. Furthermore, candidates must possess skills and practical experience in data analysis, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to a focused, time-limited research endeavor, applying advanced data science methodologies to complex multiscale simulation problems within a specialized institute.
