Job Summary

This critical leadership role involves taking functional and disciplinary responsibility for the EW Application Solutions department. The successful candidate will lead, manage, and develop the team, ensuring a high-performing development and operations organization characterized by high delivery quality and stability, measured by transparent KPIs. Daily tasks include translating complex business requirements into effective digital solutions, steering development teams through analysis, design, and implementation phases, and optimizing resource allocation for projects and ongoing tasks. A primary focus is maintaining the stable and performant operation of the entire application landscape, encompassing monitoring, incident and problem management, continuous modernization, and promoting engineering excellence and agile methodologies. The position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with several years of experience leading teams and managing highly available application landscapes.
