Job Summary

This role involves performing crucial chemical and physical analyses of beverages and flavorings at the Bavarian State Office for Health and Food Safety (LGL) in Würzburg. The primary focus is ensuring products comply with relevant food safety regulations, contributing to consumer protection. Day-to-day tasks include conducting wet chemical, chromatographic (GC, HPLC), photometric, and spectroscopic (including NMR) procedures, preparing samples, and managing general laboratory operations. The technician will be responsible for compiling, evaluating, and validating test results, releasing compliant samples, and meticulously documenting data using a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Key requirements include a completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or CTA, strong foundational experience in instrumental analysis, and knowledge of quality assurance processes.
