Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Project Manager to actively contribute to the modernization and digitalization of the Public Health Service (ÖGD) in Bavaria. The successful candidate will join the Bavarian State Office for Health and Food Safety (LGL) to support critical IT and digitalization initiatives, focusing on the introduction of new IT applications and the development of the ÖGD citizen portal. Day-to-day responsibilities include comprehensive project and process management support, such as developing process requirements, conducting data surveys and analysis, managing project budgets and cost plans, and ensuring adherence to project guidelines within the Project Management Office (PMO). Furthermore, the role involves coordinating the digitalization steering committee, creating essential documentation (tender documents, risk analyses, reports), organizing training management, and providing technical and organizational first-level support. This position requires a completed university degree (Bachelor/Diploma) and a passion for solving problems with innovative technologies within a multidisciplinary environment dedicated to the 'One Health' concept.
