Job Summary

This role involves working as a Chemical-Technical Assistant or Laboratory Technician in Erlangen, focusing on the chemical analysis of animal-derived products (meat, fish, milk, eggs, honey, urine, plasma, and drinking water) for veterinary drug residues. Day-to-day tasks include preparing samples, independently conducting chemical analysis following quality assurance (QA) guidelines, processing measurement results, and managing data entry into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The successful candidate will contribute to consumer protection by ensuring food safety within the Bavarian Health and Food Safety Authority (LGL). Key requirements include a completed CTA or Chemical Laboratory Technician education, strong analytical chemistry skills, and experience with instrumental analysis and quality management in a chemical laboratory setting.
