Job Summary

This role involves supporting the Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration (WSV) by ensuring the functionality and maintenance of electrical systems, specifically focusing on communications and information technology within the fleet center in Cuxhaven. The technician will be responsible for the planning, modification, and adaptation of existing equipment and systems, alongside crucial tasks like fault analysis, troubleshooting, and managing procurement processes, including invoice verification for external services. Key requirements include a relevant professional qualification as a State-Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering and the physical fitness to work at heights (G41 certification). The ideal candidate will also possess strong documentation skills, proficiency in MS Office and SAP, and fluent German language skills (C1) to effectively contribute to operational instructions and safety assessments.
