Job Summary

This role involves providing essential IT support and system administration for the Maritime Security Center (MSZ) in Cuxhaven, a critical joint facility ensuring safety along the German coast. The IT Specialist will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, optimization, and security of VoIP systems, including firewalls and end devices. Daily tasks include setting up and commissioning client systems (office communication, 24h services, SINA, VoIP), performing 1st and 2nd level support for system disturbances, and deploying software packages using central distribution tools. Key requirements include a completed vocational training as an IT Specialist and proficiency in German (B1). The position is permanent and offers the opportunity to work collaboratively on IT projects within a vital federal and state security network.
