This part-time Student Assistant role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge Cancer Vaccines research in Mainz, Germany. The primary responsibilities involve ensuring strict compliance with animal protection laws by monitoring the health status of laboratory animals (mice), particularly during weekends and public holidays, requiring approximately five hours per week. Day-to-day tasks also include performing basic animal handling procedures, such as measuring body weight and temperature, and actively supporting the team with immunological in vitro and ex vivo assays. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a degree program related to biology, chemistry, medicine, or natural sciences. The position requires an organized and independent working style, a willingness to work with laboratory animals, and good English proficiency. Required Skills
Education
Enrolled student pursuing a degree in biology, chemistry, medicine, or a similar natural sciences field. Relevant certification (e.g., FELASA Function A, C/D, or equivalent) is advantageous.
