Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the smooth, continuous operation of the future SAP system landscape, specifically SAP S/4 HANA, within the IT Applications for Infrastructure department at the Physical-Technical Federal Institute (PTB) in Braunschweig. Key daily responsibilities include the installation, operation, monitoring, and performance optimization of the SAP environment, managing SAP transports, and administering user roles and authorizations, including in the Fiori environment. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, conceptual IT administration skills, and practical experience with Linux and Windows operating systems, as well as database knowledge (ideally MaxDB or HANADB).
