High Voltage Engineer | Ingenieur Hochspannungstechnik (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role, based in the Cologne/Bonn area, is seeking a High Voltage Engineer responsible for defining electrical, thermal, and mechanical specifications in collaboration with clients, ensuring adherence to current industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed technical specifications, determining manufacturing costs, and assessing technical feasibility in coordination with the Offer & Order Engineering team. You will also collaborate closely with Procurement to manage component availability and define requirements for external suppliers. A key component of the job involves participating in customer meetings, presenting technical solutions, and independently driving technical topics forward. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Energy or High Voltage Technology. While initial professional experience is preferred, this position is also open to motivated entry-level candidates. Success requires strong analytical skills, a structured approach, effective communication, and fluency (C1 level) in both German and English.
